CONTENS enterprise

Multi-Client, Centrally Administered CMS

CONTENS enterprise is a centrally administered CMS with support for multiple clients/sites. A single installation of CONTENS enterprise gives you central administrative control over any number of media types; example uses include operation of Web sites in foreign countries, a few partner-extranets, or focused customer portals.

A Web site may be set up in the system as a client, allowing for independent libraries, administrative sections, and contents. The filter applications in CONTENS allow a display of the future appearance of your Web site. For example, you will know beforehand exactly what a Web site will look like on the PDA of your business partners during a new product launch.

Key features include:

- Automatically recognizes which content should be created statically or dynamically

- Integration and connectivity potential with API, XML and LDAP, eg. on SAP, IBM WebSphere, Active Directory

- Support for triggers--predefined guidelines for the processing of recurring editorial tasks

- Application, spreadsheet, and form generators

- Short message supports, facilitating communication between editors

- Optional personalization and single sign-on

- Display of single pages according to time and target group

- Content can be transformed into a specific format for each output channel (eg., PDA)

- Supports Windows, Linux, and Solaris platforms with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and IBM DB2 databases
