DVYGUN Smart Search Enterprise Edition is a desktop search application that provides full text search over the user's E-mails and E-mail attachments (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird), documents (DOC, XLS, PDF, HTML, RTF, TXT), file archives (CHM, ZIP, RAR, MHT, CAB and others), music, videos and pictures, contacts, Web-browser history and favorites (Internet Explorer, Firefox) stored on the PC and in the corporate intranet.

The creating of the program's searchable index is 2-5 Gb/hour. After initial indexing, new and updated items would be indexed on-the-fly.

By default found items are sorted by relevance to search terms; but the user can sort them by other criteria (date, title, filename, etc.). Found items are shown with contextual citation, where search keywords are highlighted.

Other features include:

- The user can search by all categories, or choose specific categories; and also use refined searches

- Item Preview allows seeing the full text of each document or E-mail in the results list without opening the appropriate application

- The user can perform item-specific actions like opening a file, replying to and E-mail, or going to a Web-page directly from the search system

- Pictures and videos are shown with previews in the search results

- Includes morphological support for English, Russian and Ukrainian
