Diatra
Information Retrieval Software Combines Search, Navigation And Application Integration
Diatra functions as a single interface through which users can search and navigate products, data and applications. By entering a text query or clicking on a link, users receive accurate results from the site or system they are searching, regardless of the keywords used to make the request. In addition, Diatra presents results within the appropriate part of the site's navigation and interface, effectively integrating search and navigation to make it easier for users to find what they need. When the required data resides in more than one system, results are aggregated from each system and populated into a single display. No data centralization or back-end system integration is required. As a result, Diatra can integrate live data (such as products from eBay) with less frequently changing data.
Diatra generates accurate results by utilizing a proprietary hierarchical mapping technology that identifies the meaning of data, rather than simply the words that comprise it. Consequently, search results contain only data that match the meaning of the request. Diatra also finds all possible data matches, even from the 'invisible Web.' It does so by learning how to interact with a site's applications and instructs them to retrieve data that is not available to typical text search spiders.
A key feature of Diatra is its focus on displaying results. Diatra intelligently displays data to make them actionable. Diatra delivers results within the right navigational context and can dynamically merge the taxonomies of multiple sites to generate a single navigational system for all data. Furthermore, Diatra can write the data results and other interface elements into any display template.
Diatra functions as middleware and is easy to implement. Straight license and service model solutions are available.
