Subject Search Scanner (SSScanner) is a full-text search utility that scans files, E-mail and nested archives looking for a given word or phrase. The vendor states that it is able to find paragraphs in which your search phrase is altered, modified or even misspelled. All findings are grouped together into a single report.

SSScanner supports searches in 39 languages and processes files in multiple formats including text, E-mail messages and folders, ZIP, TAR, and other archives including nested ones, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, PDF, HLP, Rich Text and HTML files as well as binary or executable files.
