Adaptive Performance Tool
Tool For IT Managers To Run Servers Efficiently
Maryland software and UNIX/Oracle consulting company has developed Adaptive Performance Tool (APT) to make effective use of computing resources and to gauge the limits and capacity of servers and software applications.
APT relies on distributed module technology to utilize all available sources of performance information. Raw compressed data is piped over to graphics and statistical analysis engines and delivered to users via a Web based interface over the Internet, corporate intranets, even dialup and wireless lines. Data translation modules are easily adapted to acquire any operational information of interest, including business statistics, server load, real time and historical analyses.
Besides delivering the data itself, ISS provides its customers with resources, such as books, training, consulting and online information to understand and apply server knowledge.
