Antepo OPN
Instant Messaging Platform Now Includes Blackberry Client
Developed using Java, Antepo's Open Presence Networks (OPN) software provides a standards-based IM infrastructure to businesses. The Antepo OPN System is comprised of the following three packages, each playing specific roles on the real-time network:
- OPN Server is an Instant Messaging system designed for enterprise and service provider networks
- OPN Router is a multi-protocol XMPP/Jabber and SIP/SIMPLE routing engine, designed for federated interconnection of standards-based IM and Presence systems across enterprise, provider, and firewall boundaries
- OPN Clients are XMPP IM clients, optimized for security, multi-user collaboration, and customizable interface across Windows desktop, Microsoft PocketPC and Smartphone devices
The Antepo OPN System is fully conformant with IETF XMPP and SIP/SIMPLE draft and adopted standards, supporting interoperability between all XMPP and SIP/SIMPLE standards-based systems. As it is developed in Java, OPN operates in UNIX, Windows and LINUX environments on a wide variety of hardware platforms. Other features include federated user access and built-in archiving functionality.
