iEmployee offers a suite of Web hosted on-demand workforce management tools. It is a 100% Web-based (runs inside a browser) HRIS, time and attendance self-service product. According to the vendor, it was designed using tools specifically designed for Internet applications and is payroll independent (it can interface with any payroll system).
iEmployee is not an integrated package of applications, its design is based on Single Application Architecture (SAA). It integrates multiple functions and is targeted to all employees (exempt, non-exempt, supervisors, managers) in an office or manufacturing environment. Features such as honor-based time entry, PTO exceptions for exempt employees, E-mail reminders for late employees and more are all pieces of iEmployee.
iEmployee can be rolled out in small steps and it can be tested on a trial period or short-term (monthly) contract period in which users can test drive the product. After the test period, it can be rolled out enterprise-wide.
