ReadyCast
Automated Data Collaboration Service
ReadyCast combines the clear audio quality of an automated ReadyConference call, the company's on-demand conferencing service, with the data collaboration capability of the Internet. ReadyCast features include the ability to share and edit documents back and forth, browse the Web in groups, transfer files electronically and share control of desktop applications.
ReadyCast will be targeted to Premiere Conferencing's global Fortune 1000 customer base to make small group meetings more effective by adding visual presentations (e.g., PowerPoint) and white boarding functionality to their automated audio conference calls. ReadyCast is ideally suited for new product rollouts, strategic planning, interactive work sessions, document sharing, and any other on-the-fly meetings that require visual collaboration.
Premiere Conferencing started as an operator-assisted conference call provider for large corporations in the United States, a less than $1 billion market category. With its international expansion and new services such as ReadyCast, Premiere Conferencing moves into a larger multi-billion market category. According to "The Real Time Collaboration Industry Report 2000" by Collaborative Strategies, the data collaboration market will grow to $17.7 billion by 2003.
