DUAL Gatekeeper is an H.323 proxy server that enables Internet voice and video calling from within a home network or corporate LAN.

NetMeeting allows you to make free voice and video calls through the Internet to other NetMeeting users. But, using NetMeeting from within a home network or corporate LAN can be a problem, because NetMeeting normally needs to be used on the PC that has an Internet connection. Normal proxy servers or the Microsoft Internet Connection Sharing feature do not work with NetMeeting, because of the complexity of NetMeeting's H.323 protocol.

DUAL Gatekeeper solves this problem by acting as a proxy server for NetMeeting installations within a private network. With DUAL Gatekeeper installed on a PC with an Internet connection (dial up, direct, DSL or cable), NetMeeting installations within your home network or corporate LAN will have full Internet access using NetMeeting's voice, video, chat, whiteboard and Remote Desktop Sharing functions.

Through DUAL Gatekeeper, you will also have full access to ILS servers and a seamless integration with MSN/Windows Messenger for sending and receiving NetMeeting invitations.
