Ridgeway Secure Communicator is a connectivity platform that enables IP-equipped communication devices within a secure LAN (such as phones, cameras, PBXs, etc.) to communicate with other such devices over both public (i.e., Internet) and private IP networks without compromising the LAN's security. The platform is served in multiple configurations; including SIP and H.323 versions, software only or hardware/software combinations, and Enterprise or Service Provider flavors.

In order to maintain the LAN's security during VoIP communications, Ridgeway Secure Communicator connects all communication endpoints using only two IP ports, and additionally handles all calls (both incoming and outgoing) as if they were outgoing calls. Ridgeway states that their platform "...is transparent to terminals and network equipment," with support for existing networking security schemes and protocols, including NAT, DHCP, and PAT. The platform is configured and managed via a Web based interface.
