DataCity offers multiple types of storage components, available separately. Among their current offerings:

- External SCSI Desktop Enclosures come in 1, 2, 4 and 8 bay models, and can be configured for 50 Pin Narrow SCSI-1 and SCSI-1, UltraWide and LVD 68 Pin SCSI, as well as SCA LVD U320 80 Pin SCSI requirements. They are fully shielded using heavy gauge metal and can accommodate both 3.5 and 5.25" SCSI External or Internal Devices.

According to the vendor, the enclosures meet and exceed the DoD Military Directive 5200.1-R for using computers within a secure or classified environment.

These external SCSI enclosures used with the DataCity SCA Backplane are fully compatible with Sun Microsystems 2500 Blades.

- Removable Hard Drive Kits come complete so as to remove and insert 1 3.5" hard drive. Available interfaces are IDE ATA-133, Serial ATA Types 1 and 2, Narrow 50 Pin SCSI, UltraWide LVD 68 Pin SCSI, U160 U320 LVD SCA 80 Pin SCSI.

Kits are 100% transparent to hard drive size or speed, and, according to the vendor, are compatible with industry standard computers and hard drives. Special models are available for Dell PCs and Sun Microsystem Workstations and Model 2500 Blades.
