Voicent Gateway is a high level development platform based on W3C VoiceXML. It supports text-to-speech, voice recognition, and DTMF tones for both inbound & outbound apps, and works with VOIP through Skype and voice modem. With it, applications such as autodialers, phone alert software, and inbound IVR systems can be created without using TAPI programming.

The Gateway API, SDK, tutorial, and sample code (C++, Perl, and PHP) are available online.

The developer can integrate Voicent Gateway with an HTTP Web interface or command line interface. An open source based Web server is included but not required.

Voicent Developer SDK is also available for commercial developers. A command line simulator is included in the SDK.

Voicent provides developer network annual subscription and support. Included are one copy of AutoReminder Professional version or BroadcastByPhone professional version. Multi-phone line support.
