PTTTOSWF provides a way to convert existing PowerPoint Presentation files (*.ppt) into a Macromedia Flash SWF clip, retaining all of the special effects of your presentation.

PPTTOSWF supports 122 animation effects, and its features include: Converts images, slide backgrounds; reuses background in all slides; converts texts, symbols; supports font; converts character and picture bullets; converts all shapes and AutoShapes, clip art, word art, and rotated objects; converts 3D settings for shapes (AutoShapes), embedded OLE objects like Charts, Tables, Graphs, and Equations; converts notes, page numbers, headers, and footers; skips hidden slides; converts presentations created with Master Templates; converts URL links, animation effects, animation with defined time; supports presentation looping; converts audio in WAV and MP3 formats, video clips in AVI, WMV, ASF, MPEG formats; provides different ways of navigating through the SWF clip; supports shape actions; creates SWF clip with different linear sizes; supports previewing of generated SWF clip; converts each slide to separate images in BMP, JPG, WMF and PNG; saves the SWF file as an exe-projector; and an update program.

The newest version of PPTTOSWF has functionality that enables users to create Flash Web Sites using PowerPoint. You can define actions for the shapes included in the presentation; which gives you the opportunity to: Add jumps to the next and to previous slides for browsing pages (you can use the left and the right arrow shapes); add jumps to the first slide (I.E., the "home page" of your Flash site); jump to specific pages of the presentation (you may use either text name shapes or page numbers); or go to other sites or make links to HTML pages of your own sites.
