Lineox Updates are built automatically when security or bug fixes are available. Versions include 2.1 (x86 only) and 3.0 (x86 and x86_64). Updates are available from apt-get and yum repositories.

Always Current Lineox Enterprise Linux CD and DVD images are built after Updates are available, so they are always up to date and there is no need to run updates directly after installation.

The preferred packet management system on Lineox Enterprise Linux is apt-get with graphical front end synaptic available. Yum is also supported. They both resolve dependencies automatically.
