Thought Communications offers products targeted to small businesses or individuals allowing you to send, receive, and manage fax and/or voice communications from your computer. Their current product offerings include FaxTalk Messenger Pro, and FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro.

Features in common to both offerings include the ability to use your computer as a fax machine with features such as broadcast faxing, high-speed Super G3 (V34 Fax) support, 2D, ECM, delayed scheduling, sending faxes over the Internet to any E-mail address, direct access to Microsoft Outlook and Windows Address Book contacts, annotation, ability to design your own cover pages, TWAIN scanner support, save faxes in Adobe PDF format, resending previously sent faxes, and Distinctive ring and Caller ID support.

The products run as a service under Windows 2000/XP, providing send and receive fax capabilities even when a user is not logged in. The software can notify you by E-mail, fax, or pager whenever you receive a new fax and automatically forward your faxes to another fax machine or send them to an E-mail address. You can even have received messages and faxes automatically forwarded to your Microsoft Outlook Inbox.

- FaxTalk Messenger Pro includes the fax related features described above and adds voice messaging capabilities. The voice messaging features enable you to create a basic answering machine or an extended voice mail system, with the ability to create multiple mailboxes, record custom greetings, schedule greetings to play at specific times or days, and remotely access your fax and voice messages from anywhere, using a touch tone telephone. The software can notify you by E-mail, fax, pager, or telephone whenever you receive a new fax or voice message.

Additional capabilities include anti-telemarketing and blacklisting options, fax on demand, and the ability to record phone conversations.

- FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro is a send and receive fax application that manages your incoming and outgoing fax communications, providing . From a single application you can send, receive, view and print faxes, organize fax documents, create and manage contacts and phonebooks and control all fax operations. You can also block the reception of unwanted, unsolicited "junk faxes."
