Appro International has introduced the 4-way, 5U rack/tower server series powered by the Intel Xeon processor MP.

The Appro 5410X server is Appro's first 4-way Intel Xeon processor MP-based server. The server is designed for extreme memory and CPU intensive applications; on-line transaction processing (OLTP), database applications, and other compute-intensive applications. The server delivers enhanced speed, memory, flexibility and expansion capabilities.

The Appro 5410X server offers greater L3 cache (2MB) and has a chassis that serves the needs of either a pedestal or rack-mount enclosure, measuring 8-5/8" W x 16-1/2" H x 22" D. The 5410X server features ServerWorks GC-HE chipset, 32GB of total system memory and up to 10 SCSI HDDs--almost 1.5TB of total storage capacity.
