Appro International, Inc. has announced today the availability of the Appro 1224X-23 server based on dual Intel Xeon processors with a 533MHz system bus in a 1U form factor. This platform provides processing, high bandwidth and advanced management for workgroup servers.

For current customers using Intel Xeon processor-based technology, the Appro 1224X-23 saves rack space. Mr. Daniel Kim, President and CEO of Appro International stated "Appro continues to push the envelope on performance for the 1U form factor. Appro's high-density servers and advanced thermal design enables our customers to run their business critical applications and data centers for hi-end computational needs."

Appro's new 1224X-23 server brings the Intel NetBurst microarchitecture and Intel's Hyper-Threading Technology to a high performance server based on the Intel Xeon processor. This server delivers a core transaction engine for performance and memory-intensive applications critical to a variety of real-time e-business environments.
